Letter from the President

Picture
Welcome!

Thank you for visiting Northern Kentucky University’s Panhellenic Council website. My name is Mary Osbourne, and I serve as the Panhellenic Council President. I work very closely with members of each sorority, Interfraternal Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, the university, and our campus as a whole. It's such an honor to serve our Panhellenic community and represent such astonishing women.

NKU is an outstanding school with so much to offer its students; from amazing campus organizations to professors who are truly concerned with your well-being. College is one of the best, and most crucial times of your life; so live it up, study hard, and remember that college is what you make of it. Getting involved on campus is one of the best decisions anyone can make when coming to college, especially here at NKU. I have been involved with several organizations throughout my time at NKU, and I strongly recommend it for others as well. NKU Panhellenic would like to invite you to join the most active and diverse womens' organizations on Northern Kentucky’s campus.

Our Greek community is more than letters and familiar faces on campus; we are a family, united by our common goals and values. Becoming a member of our Greek community has been the best decision I have made during my college career. It has given me the confidence I need to pursue my dreams and educational goals, while shaping me into the well-rounded woman that I am today. I am a better leader, scholar, and overall person. I definitely would not be where I am today without the love and support from my sorority sisters. My letters have given me a sense of pride in knowing that I am a part of something much bigger than myself; I know that I represent my sisters both in and out of my letters. The friends that I have made and the memories we have shared will last a lifetime, and I would not have those if it weren’t for NKU and our outstanding Greek community.

While joining a sorority is not for everyone, there are so many opportunities and I encourage you to check it out. You never know; it might surprise you!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at nkupanhellenic@gmail.com or (859)-572-6514.

Thank you,
Mary Osbourne
Panhellenic President
